Accessibility

Accessibility statement and support path for the storefront and checkout journey.

Accessibility target

[TRADING NAME] is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, including customers with visual, auditory, motor, or cognitive disabilities. We design and build the storefront with reference to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA, covering areas such as text contrast, keyboard navigation, resizable text, descriptive link text, and alternative text for product images. This target applies to the pages we control at shop.dkproductions.gr; checkout, payment, and order management are hosted by Shopify, which maintains its own accessibility standards for those screens.

Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some parts of the site may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA. Known limitations can include:

  • Older product images or supplier-provided media that lack complete alternative text.
  • Third-party embeds (such as payment or shipping widgets inside Shopify checkout) that we do not fully control.
  • Occasional layout or contrast issues on newly added pages that have not yet completed an accessibility pass.
  • PDF documents (such as instruction sheets) that may not be fully screen-reader compatible.

We treat these as an ongoing work list rather than an accepted end state, and we prioritise fixes as they are identified.

Review cadence

We review the storefront's accessibility at least once a year, and additionally whenever we make significant design or template changes. Issues reported by customers are logged and addressed on a rolling basis according to severity and impact. This page is updated whenever our accessibility practices or known limitations change.
