Reviews Policy

How local reviews are collected, moderated, verified, and disclosed.

Whether reviews are verified

Product reviews on [TRADING NAME] are collected only from customers who have completed a purchase through our Shopify-hosted checkout. Each review is linked to a genuine order record, and we mark reviews from confirmed purchasers as "verified purchase" where our review system supports it. We do not purchase, fabricate, or commission reviews, and we do not publish reviews on behalf of anyone who has not actually received or used the product.

Moderation criteria

All submitted reviews are checked before publication. We may decline to publish, or may remove, a review that contains any of the following: abusive, defamatory, or discriminatory language; content unrelated to the product or the order experience; personal data about a third party; spam, advertising, or links to other websites; or content that infringes someone else's intellectual property rights. We do not edit the substance of a review's opinion, and we do not reject or alter a review merely because it expresses dissatisfaction or gives a low rating. Moderation decisions are made by our team and, where a review is rejected, we keep a record of the reason.

Incentives or free-product disclosure

We do not pay for reviews. If a review was submitted in exchange for a discount, a free or discounted product, or any other incentive, this will be clearly disclosed alongside the review at the time of publication. Where no such disclosure appears, the review was submitted voluntarily by a customer with no incentive attached. Any incentive offered applies equally regardless of whether the resulting review is positive or negative, and accepting an incentive never requires a customer to write a favourable review.

Publication of positive and negative reviews

We publish both positive and negative reviews that meet the moderation criteria above. Star ratings and written comments are shown as submitted, including critical or negative feedback, and are not filtered by rating. Aggregate ratings displayed on product pages are calculated from all published reviews for that product, positive and negative alike.
